SA CASTINGS
SA Castings was established in 2001 by Principal Lucy Sage. Since then, we have represented some of the region's most talented young performers and have worked for clients such as the BBC, ITV, Billy Elliot (West End), Wolf Blood (Bafta nomination), The Dumping Ground (BBC), Waitress (UK tour), In the Night Garden... Live (UK tour), Les Mis (UK Tour), South Pacific (UK Tour), Mary Poppins (UK Tour), Nike, Netflix, and Winnie-the-Pooh (UK Tour).
We pride ourselves on nurturing each individual's talent and represent all of our young performers with care and respect. Head Agent, Lou Coel, has worked extensively in the industry and is a fully qualified vocal coach and chaperone.
At SA Castings, we believe that to create a career with longevity, it is important to work with honest, open communication to allow children to enter the professional industry in a safe and caring environment.

How can I get involved?
All students from SA Full-Time College or Youth Academy are automatically considered for any castings that suit them.
If you are looking for representation for yourself or your child, please get in touch to see if our books are open.
how do i get headshots?
All castings require an up to date photograph of applicants. This 'headshot’ is a clear head and shoulders image, with no distracting background or other people in the picture. There are hundreds of professional photographers out there, but if you are interested in getting professional images for your child please ask us for advice on where to get them.
DO i need spotlight?
Most self-tapes for professional work are submitted through Spotlight. However, we are able to submit individuals for work in some instances.
We can assist and advise as to whether you need to join Spotlight, if required and also help you record self-tapes in our purpose built multimedia room.

Our purpose-built studios are regularly used by professional companies for auditions, rehearsals and filming (Working Title Films, BBC, ITV, Costal Productions, Beverly Keogh Casting, Cameron Mackintosh, The Royal Ballet School, Blue Genie, Strictly Come Dancing).

MULTIMEDIA STUDIO HIRE
We have a state of the art recording studio, suitable for recording vocal reels, self-tapes and small group recordings, that is available for hire.
At SA Performing Arts Centre, we are renowned for our excellent facilities. We can assist with all of your performing arts needs; from rehearsal space hire to talent acquisition, we even have a multimedia studio for vocal reels as well as costume and prop hire.
